We are very sad to inform you of the passing of a tremendous person, Vern McCarthy. We have onlyhad the pleasure of knowing him for about nine months, but the handful of times we did were with him were wonderful. Vern’s love of big band jazz was truly inspirational. His unselfish sharing of his time and knowledge will always be appreciated. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Vern’s family. He was a true gentleman. Peace to you, Vern.

Don’t miss this Saturday’s show with The Frantic, Late Night Hooligan Riff Raff and the Nick Galik Band. This show is a benefit for the Rock For Kids Organization that provides free music lessons for underserved/underpriveleged children in the city. Show starts at 9pm. $10 suggested donation.
